“I assume the artistic practice from everyday experience and from objects that relate to the body, with the space and with women,” says Colombian photographer and visual artist, Melissa Cartagena, who has commenced a photographic practice entitled “Docile Project”, dedicated to women sexual sensuality within the woman herself. Cartagena photographs women bare in –her preference of– natural environments whilst inspired by lighting, framing, and colors.

With pictures of 100 women the artist will make a large-scale collage and shape the face of a single woman.
